The Maple runs 4/2/0/2 — a stubby, overstable approach disc that fights back against anything you throw at it. Zero glide and a dependable 2 fade mean it won't float or drift; it holds an angle and finishes hard left for RHBH throwers. Flat, hyzer, or forehand, it resists torque and carves the same predictable dump-off line every time, which is exactly what you want inside 250 feet.
Throw it flat or on a slight hyzer at controlled approach power — no need to muscle it. It cuts through the air without flipping and stays glued to your angle even into a headwind. It fades out predictably and lands flat with almost no skip, parking you under the basket.
Above Ground Level, better known as AGL, got its start in 2011 when Josh Jones grew tired of buying the same mold twice and getting two different flights. He started making his own discs to chase consistency, and the brand officially took the AGL name in 2016. It's a family operation out of San Jose, California, built on frustration that turned into a mission.
