Flight Summary

The Ponderosa is an understable putter that runs roughly 2/4/-1/0, though many runs list it 3/4/-2/0 and the glide plays even higher than its number suggests. Slower arms get a straight-flying, floaty putt that pops up and holds the line; bigger arms can flip it for long arcing turnover shots and hyzer flips. It's the least stable putter in the AGL forest, with the Madrone and Manzanita each stacking on more fade. Slot it as your dead-straight to understable circle 2 putter and turnover utility disc.

What to Expect

Throw it flat with light, controlled power and let the glide do the work. It tracks straight forever, turning gently late without any harsh flex out of the line. It carries deep and settles soft, so respect the glide or it'll sail past the basket.

Brand Context

Above Ground Level, better known as AGL, got its start in 2011 when Josh Jones grew tired of buying the same mold twice and getting two different flights. He started making his own discs to chase consistency, and the brand officially took the AGL name in 2016. It's a family operation out of San Jose, California, built on frustration that turned into a mission.
