Midrange
The Balance carries flight numbers of 5 | 5 | 0 | 2, a stable to overstable midrange that pushes dead straight before a dependable, gentle fade at the end. Thrown flat it holds its line with power, and on hyzer it gives a clean, predictable finish without flipping. Big arms get a torque-resistant straight flier, while smaller arms get reliable overstability. It earns the name.
Release this disc flat with moderate to firm power and it will track straight immediately. In the air, it maintains its line with excellent stability and minimal deviation, building toward a subtle fade in the final phase. It lands predictably with a gentle angle, giving you the exact finish you threw.
Axiom Discs launched in January 2014 as the colorful sister brand to MVP Disc Sports, founded by Michigan brothers Brad and Chad Richardson. The idea grew out of MVP's Eclipse glow line, where players kept buying discs purely for the vibrant overmold colors. So the Richardsons branched off from MVP's signature black rim to deliver those vivid color combos at a normal price point. Same engineering brains behind the wheel, different aesthetic mission.
