Flight Summary
The Fireball is an overstable 9-speed driver that hovers around 9/3/0/3. 5, and the '0' turn is honest — even bombers won't flip it. What separates it from a standard meathook is the forward push: it holds a turn-free high-speed line longer than a Motion before dumping into a delayed, focused fade. Throw it flat or on a slight hyzer for spike lines, or power down with a touch of anhyzer and let it flex back. It's the utility slot in a vault where you need zero surprises and a hard, repeatable finish.
What to Expect
Throw it flat or on a slight hyzer with forehand or backhand power for the cleanest result. It resists turn at speed, pushes forward longer than most overstable drivers, then transitions into a focused fade. It drops later and more abruptly than a Motion, settling with almost no skip-out roll.
Brand Context
Axiom Discs launched in January 2014 as the colorful sister brand to MVP Disc Sports, founded by Michigan brothers Brad and Chad Richardson. The idea grew out of MVP's Eclipse glow line, where players kept buying discs purely for the vibrant overmold colors. So the Richardsons branched off from MVP's signature black rim to deliver those vivid color combos at a normal price point. Same engineering brains behind the wheel, different aesthetic mission.
