The Insanity runs 9 / 5 / -2 / 1. 5, a glidey control driver designed to fly like a worn-in Inertia with more high-speed turn and a softer fade. Average arms get an arrow-straight flight, while power throwers can flip it up off a hyzer release and ride long turnover lines. It rewards a nose-down release and slots in as a low-effort distance tool rather than a power bomber.
A nose-down release with moderate power generates the ideal flight angle. The disc turns through the air with steady glide and minimal resistance, holding a predictable curve rather than fighting back. It finishes with a soft fade and lands at a controlled angle, making it a low-effort distance tool.
Axiom Discs launched in January 2014 as the colorful sister brand to MVP Disc Sports, founded by Michigan brothers Brad and Chad Richardson. The idea grew out of MVP's Eclipse glow line, where players kept buying discs purely for the vibrant overmold colors. So the Richardsons branched off from MVP's signature black rim to deliver those vivid color combos at a normal price point. Same engineering brains behind the wheel, different aesthetic mission.
