Flight Summary
The Panic is a very overstable speed-13 distance driver rated 13/4/-0. 5/3, an Axiom 23mm mold with a pronounced dome for glide. Even for big arms it holds a hyzer line without complaint and gives you steep anhyzer flex lines that fight back to flat; without full power it fades early for utility work. Sits more overstable than the Octane but not as brutal as the Nitro, making it the beefy end of the 23mm class for arms that can activate it.
What to Expect
Throw it flat with real power — this is a driver that wants at least 375 feet of arm to flatten out and reward you. In the air it sizzles through with authority, showing only a touch of turn before tracking predictably at speed. It finishes with a strong, reliable fade and skips low when you throw it hard on a hyzer.
Brand Context
Axiom Discs launched in January 2014 as the colorful sister brand to MVP Disc Sports, founded by Michigan brothers Brad and Chad Richardson. The idea grew out of MVP's Eclipse glow line, where players kept buying discs purely for the vibrant overmold colors. So the Richardsons branched off from MVP's signature black rim to deliver those vivid color combos at a normal price point. Same engineering brains behind the wheel, different aesthetic mission.
