Flight Summary
The Proxy runs 3/3/-1/0. 5 — a beadless putt-and-approach mold that flies laser-straight with a whisper of high-speed turn and almost no fade. It shares the Envy's low-profile core but trades the Envy's overstable finish for a neutral, forward-fading glide that holds any release angle you give it. Throw it flat for dead-straight lines, on a hyzer for gentle arcs, or on anhyzer for controlled turnovers under 300 feet. It's the anchor straight disc for a touch-based vault.
What to Expect
Release it flat at low to medium power for the truest lines, though it holds up across a broad power range. In the air it tracks straight with just enough turn to work anhyzer shapes, staying predictable even at reduced speed. It finishes with a soft, minimal fade and lands gently thanks to that wide flight-plate glide.
Brand Context
Axiom Discs launched in January 2014 as the colorful sister brand to MVP Disc Sports, founded by Michigan brothers Brad and Chad Richardson. The idea grew out of MVP's Eclipse glow line, where players kept buying discs purely for the vibrant overmold colors. So the Richardsons branched off from MVP's signature black rim to deliver those vivid color combos at a normal price point. Same engineering brains behind the wheel, different aesthetic mission.
