The Tempo runs 4/4/0/2. 5 — a low-profile approach putter with a flat plate that resists torque and finishes with a reliable, forward-pushing fade. Power throwers get a hint of turn before the fade kicks in, while lower-arm players see a straight-to-overstable flight ideal for wind. It reads slightly less stable than advertised for most, holding lines longer than Discraft's Zone with a fade that pushes forward rather than dumping hard left.
Throw it flat with moderate power on either a forehand or backhand for the cleanest result. In the air it holds a straight line, resists torque, and reads predictably before the fade engages. It finishes with a forward-pushing fade and settles flat near the basket.
Axiom Discs launched in January 2014 as the colorful sister brand to MVP Disc Sports, founded by Michigan brothers Brad and Chad Richardson. The idea grew out of MVP's Eclipse glow line, where players kept buying discs purely for the vibrant overmold colors. So the Richardsons branched off from MVP's signature black rim to deliver those vivid color combos at a normal price point. Same engineering brains behind the wheel, different aesthetic mission.
