Flight Summary

The Reach is Birdie's high-speed distance driver, a 12/5/-1/3 that lands squarely in Destroyer territory — hence the 'People's Destroyer' nickname. Thrown flat with power it holds a long, straight-to-slight-turn line before returning for a dependable, forward fade rather than a hard dump. It's not overly stable, so big arms get flip-up distance out of it, and it takes a hyzer flip well when you want an S-curve.

What to Expect

Throw it flat with real snap — this is a power driver, not a beginner's first speed 12. In the air it glides long and straightens out, resisting flip while still working turnover lines for bigger arms. It finishes with a reliable forward fade that skips out rather than kicking hard left.

Brand Context

Birdie Disc Golf Supply Co. launched in the winter of 2018 out of New Castle, Delaware, founded by Derek and Gina Fell. It started life as a retail disc golf store before evolving into a full brand. The pivot to making their own discs came a few years in, once they had the industry footing to do it right.
