Flight Summary
The Butter is a 2/3/0/1 beadless putter that flies dead straight with a whisper of fade at the end. The zero turn means it won't flip on you, but power it up and it still holds the line rather than turning over, finishing flat to a soft, predictable fade. Most players find it slightly less stable than the numbers suggest — closer to the floaty end than something like Discraft's Luna. Throw it on hyzer, anhyzer, or flat and it does exactly what you tell it.
What to Expect
Release it flat with moderate touch — overpowering it is the only way to mess it up. In the air it tracks straight with plenty of glide and resists turning over even when you lean on it. It finishes with a soft, reliable fade and sits down clean near the basket.
Brand Context
Clash Discs is a Finnish operation born straight out of the pandemic disc shortage. Founder Timo Nuutinen couldn't replace a disc his kid lost, so he started tinkering with making his own, and the first prototypes were reportedly terrible. He kept refining until locals wanted them, and by early 2021 a real company had formed in North Karelia.
