Flight Summary
The Cumulus runs 2/3/-1/1 — a slow, beadless flat-top putter with a touch of turn and a whisper of fade. Throw it flat and it tracks dead straight; give it the slightest anhyzer and the -1 turn carries it gently right before settling. It's a straight-line putt-and-approach disc for short, controlled shots, not a power tool, and it lives in a beginner's vault or as a kids' first putter.
What to Expect
Release it flat at low power for the cleanest straight line. It holds its path slowly through the air with almost no surprises, the kind of flight a new player can trust. It glides down soft and fades just barely at the very end.
Brand Context
Guru is a Norwegian operation out of Oslo, where it traces its roots back to 1986 and an orange frisbee called the Coupe imported by Eirik Petersen. That early scene gave rise to Sune Sport, founded by freestyle world champion Sune Wentzel, and Guru Discs grew out of it as a disc golf venture in 2016. The brand still calls Oslo home, with its shop landing at Østre Aker vei in 2012.
